I miss her

I use my memories as a reminder, as I’m falling into nothing, the image of her smile holds me still
Her beautiful eyes sank into mine, sparkling my heart
I miss the feel of her hand, the sound of her heartbeat against mine
That gentle beat is what carried me through the skies
She floats away in dreams, like the dream that she made come true
I wish for the sound of her voice, as it’s what I loved the most
I miss the way she looked, the way her image shined
I just wish she could know that written on a rose is my heart to hers…

the sunThe sun describes her eyes, as it starts to set…
So beautiful as I begin to get lost within
They trap me in when the night appears…
As it rains into the dark, the scattering drops of my life begin to fall
It gathers on the ground, drowning the pieces in my memory
Her image stands still, holding me in place the sun

the virusThe question why has faded, as the virus overtakes…
These words I speak are like my past, disappearing as time goes on
It’s the poison that drains my thoughts as time begins to play my fears…
It left me scattered, forgetting the direction
Replacing my eyes with memories of long ago…
My footsteps begin to get smaller as I walk slower
As I begin to forget, the steps get harder the virus

Cold feelingThis feeling returns, grasping hold of my eyes
Taking me back to the days filled with her sparkle…
Reminding me of what was, how her voice became my memories
As I ponder at night, questioning her voice…
Staring down in denial, wishing for the past
Spending my nights waiting for the answer, for the cure to fix the mistake
Seems to always return, when the freezing begins…
It comes without thought, disorienting my every move
Always comes down to the final move, do I suffer for her or be happy without her Cold feeling

gentle rhythmThe gentle rhythm of the water reflects who I am…
As the waves rush for a purpose,
They drift silently, cashing amongst each other
My breathes begin to flow along side the current, stopping as they crash
As I begin treading to the shore, it looks like the memory that I am stuck within…
For months it’s haunted me, splintering my heart

The impression that it leaves, stains each piece

Reminding me of the sparkle that glistened from your eyes
And the flames that once burst and now swallowed by the current… gentle rhythm

Hello, welcome to my profile, i have not been writing peotry for very long and i am looking for other peoples thoughts, it all started when somthing happened to me and i got in a depressed state and my best friend who writes told me i shud do it..at first i was like ya right w/e but then he kept telling me so i tryed it and it helped so much....so most of my poems are sad because i only really write when im sad to get rid of the feelings but i hope you poeple like it
